Please note. The Okta Mobile app is not needed for this process, only Okta Verify.

  1. Configure Multi-Factor Authentication. Multi-factor authentication is a requirement to access the ProVenue ticketing system utilizing the Palo Alto VPN client. To set up multi-factor authentication, open a web browser on your computer and go to https://gp.tickets.com. Sign in with your VPN credentials.
  2. Select Google Authenticator or Okta Verify as your security method and click Set up.

  1. A QR Code will be displayed and will need to be scanned after your authentication app is configured in the following steps.

  • On your cell phone, open the Okta Verify or Google Authenticator app. On the home screen, click Add Account.
  • After selecting Add Account, you will be prompted to allow access to your camera and notification settings.
  • The camera will be used to scan barcodes which connect your Okta account to this app.
  • The notification settings will allow you to receive push notifications from the Okta Verify app to verify your identity.

Please note that these prompts will only show up the first time you add an account.

These settings may be turned off in the Settings app of your device.

  1. Return to the QR Code on your computer screen. Point the in-app camera at your computer screen, centering the QR Code within the frame. After scanning the code, you should see a green check mark appear and then the website will redirect back to the Settings page. If you scroll down to Extra Verification and look at Okta Verify, you should see that there is no longer a Setup button. Instead it should say Enabled, which means you are all set. On your phone, you should now see that your Okta account has been enrolled in Okta Verify.
