Update the Email Address on a Credit or Debit Purchase


An email address can ONLY be changed if the guest has not created a verified account in the Intellitix App. Once an email is verified, it cannot be edited. 

You can confirm if an email address has been verified or not once you search for the customer in Cloud, viewing the customer’s order history, or while managing an order.

  • Verified will be indicated in green next to an email address that has already been verified and cannot be changed.
  • Unverified will be indicated in gray next to an email address that has not yet been verified and can be changed.

If you are using regions within your organization, please make sure that you are in the correct region that the event and the order are in before taking any actions on the order. Organization/Region can be set by clicking on the italic name on the very top right of the page.

Instructions on how to update the email address on a debit or credit purchase

  1. In Cloud, click Customers on the left side menu.
  2. You will need the order id to view and manage the order. To locate the order id download either the Cashless Orders Detailed Report or Vendors Orders Detailed Report. Then confirm with the customer which vendor the purchase was made at, the order total, and the date/time of the order. Once you find the order that matches this copy the order id from the report. 
  3. Enter the order id, choose the event name from the drop-down, and click Search.
  4. You will be presented with a list of orders that match your search criteria. Click View on the line that corresponds to the customer you are looking for.
  5. You will be taken to the customer’s account with a full list of all ticket and cashless orders they have made using this account. Click Manage next to the purchase you would like to update the email for.
  6. Under the order and ticket details click the Update Email button.
  7. In the pop-up box that appears, enter the new desired email address then click Submit.

  1. A verification message will appear at the top of the screen and the email in order details will update. The cashless receipt will also be resent to the new email address.
    • If the new email address is associated with a verified Intellitix App email address the status will also update to verified.
