Ticketing and Cashless Events: Website, Social, and Email Suggestions

A note to event producers

When preparing for your Intellitix ticketing and/or QR code Cashless event it’s important to educate your guests as much as possible leading up to the event day. We’ve put together some suggestions for you. Click the type that pertains to your event to see more:

Ticketing only

In this section we have suggested messaging for:

Email

Subject: EVENT NAME is almost here - make sure you’re ready!

Hey [First Name],


EVENT NAME is almost here, so it’s time to make sure you’re prepared! Before heading to the EVENT VENUE make sure you have your ticket in one of these forms:


Ticket PDF - shortly after purchasing or being transferred a ticket you received an email with your tickets attached. Have the PDF printed or open and ready to be scanned when you arrive.


Using the Intellitix App - For easier access to your tickets you can use the Intellitix App. Follow these instructions to download the app and create an account.  All you’ll need to do is show your home screen when you arrive to enter.


If you…


Bought tickets for other people, we recommend transferring them to the person that will be using the ticket(s) so each person has their own tickets ready when they arrive. You can follow these instructions to transfer tickets to their users.


Can’t find your tickets? Send an email to eventsupport@intellitix.com and they will gladly help you out.

 

 

Social media

Are you ready for EVENT NAME? Make sure before you head to the EVENT LOCATION you have either the PDF Ticket that was emailed to you or you’ve downloaded the Intellitix App to claim your tickets.

If you can’t find your tickets, send an email to tofdsupport@intellitix.com so they can assist you.

Ticketing and Cashless

Website

EVENT NAME is cashless this year!

We’ve partnered with Intellitix to provide you with more convenient purchases for more time to have fun! We will only be accepting cashless payments at the event, so please follow the steps below to prepare in advance.

  1. Download the Intellitix App from the Apple App Store or Google Play store
  2. Create an account - 
    • If you’ve already bought tickets, make sure to create your account with the same email you used when purchasing your tickets
    • If someone has  transferred tickets to you, make sure to create your account with the same email where you received the transferred tickets
    • If you haven’t bought tickets yet, find us under Discover and purchase your tickets right in the app
  3. Add your preferred payment method under the Profile screen and tap Set as default. If you have multiple cards saved, please ensure to set the one you want to use as default
  4. Present the QR code on your Home screen to enter the event and make purchases inside

Timing: 2-3 Weeks before the event
Subject: EVENT NAME is going cashless! How to prepare

Body should include:


EVENT NAME will be a completely cashless event this year! Here is what you need to know before arriving:


  1. Make sure you’ve downloaded the Intellitix App on your phone from the Apple App Store or Google Play store and created an account with the email you used to purchase your tickets.
  2. In the profile screen in the Intellitix App, add the payment method you’d like to use at EVENT NAME and set it as your default card.
  3. Once you arrive at EVENT NAME, show the QR code on the home screen to enter and make purchases!

Cashless Reminder

Sent to: all purchasers that have not yet made an account in the Intellitix App yet

Timing: Week of the event

*You should also pull a Consolidated Sales Report the day before your event that only includes sales from that day until the last time you pulled it for this purpose. This way you can send a final email to new purchasers informing them as well. 

Subject: Make sure you’re prepared for EVENT NAME!

Body should include:

Make sure you’ve created your Intellitix account in the app before heading to EVENT NAME!


The app will be your ticket to the event AND the only way to purchase once you’ve entered.


Follow these simple steps to prepare:

  1. Download the Intellitix App from the Apple App Store or Google Play store
  2. Create your account with the same email you bought your tickets with
  3. Add a payment method under the profile section in the app and set it as your default card

Once you arrive all you have to do is show the QR code on your home screen to enter and purchase!


If you…

Aren’t able to use the Intellitix App, you can also present the PDF tickets you were emailed shortly after purchasing to enter the event and use debit or credit to purchase inside.

 

Sent to: all purchasers that have made an account in the Intellitix app

Timing: Week of the event

*You should also pull a Consolidated Sales Report the day before your event that only includes sales from that day until the last time you pulled it for this purpose. This way you can send a final email to new purchasers informing them as well.

  3. Tap Payment Methods
  4. Add a new payment method if there is not one and tap set as default, or if you’ve already added a payment method just tap set as default to assign it
  5. Once you arrive all you have to do is show the QR code on your home screen to enter and purchase!

 

You can get a list of all purchasers that have or have not created an account in the Intellitix App yet by downloading a Consolidated Sales Report, and filtering based on what is located in front of their account ID in the buyer account column.

No more fumbling with cards or cash. Create an account in the Intellitix App, save your card and set as default, then start experiencing faster transactions and more time to experience EVENT NAME.
